About MQ

MQ Automation was formed in 2007 as a joint venture between Mosier Automation Inc. in Indianapolis and QCS Automation Inc. in Cincinnati. After experiencing success of the joint venture, QCS Automation Inc. changed its name to MQ Automation (QCS Division) in 2008 and Mosier Automation Inc. changed its name to MQ Automation (Mosier Division) in 2009. In 2010, MQ Automation acquired the business and assets of Tapco Products Inc., a Cincinnati based industrial distributor. The strong client relationships of the Tapco sales team have been a major addition to the strength of MQ Automation.

These companies bring together the electrical and fluid power strength of Mosier Automation and the mechanical and motion strength of QCS Automation. The comprehensive combination of electrical, fluid power, and mechanical products, allows MQ Automation to uniquely provide complete product solutions for OEMs, machine builders and end user customers. Most Industrial Distributors are only distribution companies. We have evolved into an industrial distributor that offers Applications Engineering, Training, Design, Manufacturing, Integration, and Installation.
