SP1401-EZ Nidec Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)

NIDEC SP1401-EZ is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed with an E.Z. Motion module and a single Safe Torque Off (STO) feature, utilizing air cooling. It has dimensions of frame size 1, measuring H15.2" x W3.93" x D8.62" (H386mm x W100mm x D219mm), and operates on a supply voltage of 380Vac-480Vac (400Vac / 415Vac). The rated current is 2.8A under normal duty and 2.1A under heavy-duty conditions. This wall-mounted unit is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +40°C and has a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1. It supports Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol and operates on a network frequency of 48-65 Hz (supply input) and 0-550 Hz (output). The SP1401-EZ features 3 x digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 x digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc), and 3 x additional digital inputs (0-24Vdc). It also includes 1 x analog input (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential) with a 16-bit conversion resolution and 2 x analog inputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended) with a 10-bit conversion resolution, alongside 2 x analog outputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source) with a 10-bit conversion resolution. The rated active power is 1.1kW under normal duty and 0.75kW under heavy-duty, with rated power of 1.5HP / 1-1/2HP (Normal duty) and 1HP (Heavy-duty).
