About the product
Wago 789-571 is a fixed-type relay module featuring CAGE-CLAMP spring connections for secure and maintenance-free connections. It is designed to handle a rated current of 16A continuously and can manage up to 50A AC inrush maximum current for 20ms. The module is equipped with a red LED for status indication and operates on an electromechanical design with bistable/latching functionality. It recommends a minimum switching load of 10V / 10mA. The relay provides a single-pole single-throw normally open (1NO / SPST-NO) contact type. It does not specify a supply voltage for AC but operates within an ambient air temperature range for operation from -25°C to +40°C and for storage from -40°C to +85°C. The degree of protection is rated at IP20. The control voltage range for DC is specified as 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal), with a rated impulse voltage (Uimp) of 0.85...1.1 x Uc. The module's dimensions are H90mm x W17.5mm x D55mm, fitting a 17.5mm width on a DIN-35 rail for mounting. It features silver-tin (AgSnO) contacts for the switching mechanism, is designed for a 250V network, and has a power consumption suitable for single-pole / 1-pole (1P) applications. The relay is capable of 50,000 digital input operations and 1,000,000 operations for hold time, indicating its durability and longevity in application cycles.
