Wago 750-8101 is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) CPU unit featuring a range of communication protocols including MQTT, DHCP, DNS, NTP, FTP, FTPS, SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, and SSH. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-31.2Vdc via wiring with a nominal 24Vdc and supports connection through 2 x RJ45 connectors for fieldbus, along with cage-clamp 2-pin for system and cage-clamp 6-pin for field connections. This unit is designed for an ambient air temperature operation range of 0°C to +55°C and storage temperatures from -25°C to +85°C. It offers a speed of 10Mbit/s and 100Mbit/s with an IP20 degree of protection. The net width of the unit is 61.5 mm, housed in a polycarbonate (PC) / Polyamide (PA) 6.6 casing, and it can be mounted on a DIN-35 rail. The unit features a 256MB memory (RAM), 256MB internal memory (flash), 64kB non-volatile memory for software, 12MB distributed dynamically between program memory and data memory, and 64kB non-volatile memory for hardware. It supports up to 250 connections per node and 64 field devices, with a vibration resistance according to EN 60068-2-6 of 4g and shock resistance according to EN 60068-2-27 of 15g. The CPU unit consumes 550mA at 24Vdc under nominal load and up to 1700mA for system supply. Programming and configuration can be done via e!COCKPIT, WAGO-I/O-CHECK, and Web-Based Management, supporting various programming languages including Instruction List (IL), Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Continuous Function Chart (CFC), Structured Text (ST), and Sequential Function Chart (SFC). The unit is equipped with a Cortex A8 600MHz processor, a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB, and operates on a Real-time Linux system with an RT-Preempt patch, ensuring robust performance in industrial environments.
