Red Lion ST-IPM-6350 is an Industrial Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) within the IPm sub-range, designed for automation and control applications. It is constructed from UL 94V-0 materials, ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards. This unit features a variety of connection options including 5 RJ45 connectors for Ethernet 10/100BaseTX with auto-detecting capabilities, 2 RJ45 ports for RS-232, and terminal block connections for RS-485. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, accommodating both 12Vdc and 24Vdc systems, and is designed for DIN rail mounting, facilitating easy installation. The ST-IPM-6350 can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. It boasts a memory capacity of 128MB FLASH, 2MB NVRAM, and 64MB DRAM, and offers an IP20 degree of protection. Communication protocols supported include RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, Modbus TCP, and DNP3, with a connection capacity of up to 16000 Sixnet nodes, 247 Modbus nodes, and 640 local I/O's. At its core, the unit is powered by an Industrial PowerPC 32-bit processor and runs on an embedded Linux operating system.
