This part of the FlexEdge DA70A Advance automation controllers sub-range features a design with 3 sled slots: slot 1 is equipped for 4G cellular connectivity in North America via Verizon, slot 2 includes 2 Ethernet connections, and slot 3 offers 1 RS-232 and 1 RS-485 connection. It supports a variety of functions including modular cellular routing, configuration through Web GUI or Crimson software, and networking capabilities such as firewall management, RADIUS authentication, routing, NAT, IP fallback, and VPN client-server operations. The router is also equipped with automation software supporting over 300 drivers, IIoT connectors, OPC UEA, SQL Sync, data logging, a virtual HMI, and an advanced web server, alongside IEC control software through Crimson Control.
