Red Lion 709FXE-ST-15 is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust networking applications. It supports SNMP v1, v2, and v3 along with Web Browser Management for comprehensive device oversight. The switch features N-Ring Technology ensuring a 30ms healing time for network disruptions, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology for enhanced network reliability, and N-View Monitoring Technology for real-time network status updates. It is equipped with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging for industrial protocol support and offers web configuration for easy setup. The 709FXE-ST-15 facilitates network segmentation and priority with 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port VLAN, 802.1p QoS, and Port QoS, alongside Port Trunking and Port Mirroring for network optimization. It supports 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP for network resilience, and includes a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, Option 61, and IP Fallback for dynamic IP management. Local Port IP Addressing and 802.1AB-2005 LLDP enhance device discovery and network management, while MAC Address Based Filtering ensures port security. The switch has configurable alarm output contacts, normally open (NO) auxiliary contacts rated for 10-49Vdc, and includes 8 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) plus 1 x Fiber optic ST connector (single-mode, 100BaseFX) with a 15km rated optical fiber distance. It operates within a temperature range of -40 to +70°C and features ESD and Surge protection on power inputs. The device is housed in a metallic case suitable for DIN rail mounting, designed for 9-ports networking with a primary focus on the N-Tron 700 series.
