NIDEC SP4201-HF is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed for high frequency applications up to 3000Hz max in open-loop configurations, featuring a single Safe Torque Off (STO) and air cooling. This unit, with dimensions of frame size 4 H21.53" x W12.2" x D11.73" (H547mm x W310mm x D298mm), operates on a supply voltage of 200Vac-240Vac (220Vac / 230Vac) and offers a rated current of 68A under normal duty and 56A under heavy-duty conditions. It is designed for wall-mounted installations and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0°C to +40°C. The SP4201-HF is protected by an IP20 NEMA 1 enclosure and utilizes Modbus RTU RS-485 for communication. It supports a network frequency from 48-65 Hz on the supply input and can output frequencies from 0 to 3000 Hz. The drive includes 3 digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 digital inputs (0-24Vdc), and 3 additional digital inputs (0-24Vdc). Analog interface options include 1 analog input (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential) with a 16-bit conversion resolution and 2 analog inputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended) with a 10-bit conversion resolution, alongside 2 analog outputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source) also with a 10-bit conversion resolution. It is designed for a 3-phase input network and delivers a rated active power of 18.5kW under normal duty and 15kW under heavy-duty, equivalent to 25HP and 20HP respectively.
